Residency
In partnership with the Regent College London, students will be participating in our unique Residency Program. With residencies located changing global locations including Washington D.C., New York, London or Dubai to name a few upcoming opportunities, students are sure to have an un-paralleled educational experience. The residential travel component is an essential learning piece to the overall program experience. The EMBA residency courses is a seminar course series designed to provide students with key industry knowledge in an active and ongoing business setting. During these seminars, students will gain exposure to key business officials and leaders and will be expected to assess the business operation culminating in a comprehensive analysis of the experience.Thinking into Character

Application Process
- Complete an enquiry interview with a dedicated recruitment support officer via online methods.
- Submit a completed application.
- Arrange for official transcripts from all colleges/universities previously attended to be submitted
- Submit grade reports or scores from any recognized college equivalency examinations (e.g., CLEP, DANTES, and Advanced Placement).
Entry Requirements
- An undergraduate degree to enrol in University of the Potomac master’s programs: four-year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in other countries.
- International applicants with a 3-year undergraduate degree may be admitted on the recommendation of the Admission Committee which will be based on students’ preparation.
- Two Letters of recommendation from individuals who may be a direct supervisor or university faculty member. *This requirement may be waived for those students with Master level transfer credits*.
- One required essay, in MSWord document form, addressing the student’s preparation for the graduate program.
- The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is not required for admission to the MBA but is strongly preferred for students who do not have a bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or lack the pre-requisite courses in business, finance, and economics. Similarly, the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for admission to the MSIT or MHCA but is recommended.

Accreditations University of the Potomac is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Higher Education Licensure Commission (DC), and State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
